Alathiyur Nambi was a renowned doyen of Ayurveda, hailing from one of the Ashtavaidya families of North Kerala. Situated in Alathiyur, Malappuram district, his family upheld rare traditions in Ayurvedic treatment procedures. Ashtavaidyan Alathiyur Narayanan Nambi, the eldest member of the family, held esteemed positions in various Ayurvedic institutions and extensively promoted Ayurveda worldwide. Until his passing on October 21, 2015, he served as the motivator and chief doctor of Tharavad Ayurveda Retreat. At Tharavad, we continue to adhere to the treatment methodologies he imparted, striving to propagate Ayurveda in alignment with his vision. endeavour is to propagate Ayurveda in the same manner that he wished.
